I've always had a hunger for terrifying experiences and recently, after playing the phenomenon Slender, I have wanted more. I came across a recommendation for a game called 'Imscared', a creepy but crude in-browser game.
I downloaded it, started it, dimmed the lights and put my headphones on...
It began with a text screen, written in Italian but somewhat understandable for me. The game's instructions were: "skip skip skip, ill work it out.. it's gonna be simple". The graphics in this game are very basic but have an artistic simplicity to them, 8-bit colour with a fog-fade perfectly distanced so the performance is flawless on even the most underpowered modern system.
This is a great 5-10 minutes of harrowing bewilderment. If you are immersed in the game, it will freak you out and make you jump a few times, definitely worth downloading for any PC gamer.
